SPKL-1 Integrated Egress Light and Alert Speaker



Featuring a quality 8 inch speaker and ramped high intensity LED based egress lighting, the SPKL-1 simplifies installation and provides high quality audio and low voltage egress lighting in a single fixture.


The lights operate on 12 to 24 Volts AC or DC and the speaker from a 25 volt or 70 volt public address system with jumper selectable taps for 1/8 to 4 watts.


Other features include a relay so the speaker can be controlled by the alert lighting system. The SPKL-1 also makes it easy to provide on demand monitoring of the alerting radio system.


The SPKL-1 is compatible with accessories (ceiling speaker enclosures, tile bridges, plaster mounting rings) from Bogen and other industry standard suppliers.



Reentrant Horn Loudspeakers




The Bogen SPT15A and SP158A are compact, high intelligibility, reentrant type loudspeakers, designed for one-way or two-way* sound and communication systems. Their sturdy, weatherproof, all metal construction is ideal for indoor and outdoor use in industrial plants, warehouses, schools, construction sites, transportation terminals, and recreational areas. Screw terminals make installation fast and easy.


The Model SPT15A has a built-in, variable impedance selector switch for matching the speaker power requirements to a 25V or 70V constant-voltage line. The model SP158A has an 8-ohm impedance.


Engineered to simplify installation (with a uniquely designed all-purpose mounting bracket) and field maintenance (with a self-aligning, field replaceable diaphragm), use of Bogen horn-type loudspeakers saves both time and money.


The speaker and mounting bracket are handsomely finished in textured mocha enamel. It has a 9" diameter and is 9-1/4" deep.



Edwards 125 Class Strobe



The Edwards 125 Class Strobe beacons are UL and cUL listed signaling devices, available in two versions, normal light output and high light output. Both versions feature a corrosion resistant Type 4X enclosure and can be panel or conduit mounted. The base is manufactured from a 33% glass filled nylon, providing high resistance to heat and high chemical resistivity. The lens is made of shatter resistant polycarbonate. Both the normal light output and high light output beacons are available with either a black or gray base, and amber, blue, clear, green or red lens.


The 125 Class Strobe beacons can be mounted on 1/2" or 3/4" NPT conduit using a 1/2" internal or 3/4" external conduit hub that comes with the unit. It can also be panel-mounted using the mounting gasket provided with the unit. When panelmounting the 125 Class Strobe, the surface and construction details of the panel must be taken into consideration to ensure the integrity of the outdoor, NEMA 4X rating is fully maintained.
